Hyatt Times Square New York

The 487-room Hyatt Times Square stands 54 stories high, making it the tallest newly built, freestanding Hyatt hotel in the United States. Located on West 45th Street, the hotel is steps away from world-famous Times Square at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The hotel is within walking distance of Broadway theaters, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center and flagship Fifth Avenue shops.

The developer, Extell Development Co., assembled the land and air rights for the midblock site between Sixth Avenue and Times Square. NYC based architectural firm SCLE designed the 550-foot structure, and the NYC interior design firm SPaN Architecture designed the public interiors. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) bought the structure during construction and hired George Wong to design the guestrooms and the street level diner restaurant.

The Hyatt program sets this hotel apart from other hotels in Manhattan. The 4,200 square foot spa is the only hotel spa in the area and features a blowout bar, manicure and pedicure stations, signature massages and couples treatment rooms. The 2,000 square foot meeting center features pre-function areas and three adjacent rooms, each with a terrace and natural light as well as state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities. Lastly, the 54th floor rooftop lounge, designed by SPaN Architecture, delights guests with river-to-river views and indoor/outdoor fireplaces.
